Week 8   Term 1

Wow what a great Junior Sports day!

The children participated fully and were kept busy. The junior children were applying skills learnt in fitness and the 'Leg It' programme. What a fantastic parent turnout too.

BIG THANKS to Room 10 parents and grandparents who helped me set up the event.

Thank you also to those who attended our St Josephs Mass on Friday. I was proud of the children's singing and behavior. It was great to acknowledge Sister Carina and all the wonderful work she does as well.
This is the Easter story:

We enjoyed our second visit to Harold on Thursday. We talked about being a good friend and what a good friend would do to help us. The children got to play with animal puppets. These were used to   talk to and model some good caring behavior. The children got alot out of this session. It was very apt with what we have been talking about at circle time. Such what to do when our friends hurt us or our feelings. So please talk to your child about these things too. (in the car on the way to school is a convenient way)

Here are some photos of us with Harold!
