Week 12
We made it! The children have worked very hard and diligently this term. Well done children.
The weather is certainly cooling off..time to find those extra layers to wear.
This week the children will be finishing some assessments on units covered.
We have been learning some blends. This has been great for writing and reading and the class are switching on quickly and finding blends everywhere!

I will take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to you all for your help at various times this term. We are very lucky to have such helpful parents...thanks also, to Rebecca who has agreed to helping out in room 9 also :-)
I have absolutely enjoyed this term. I can't wait for term 2!
Next term our concept is sustainability. We will be visiting the Recycle Centre and the Hannahs Bay Gardens as part of our study.

Week 11...already!
There is no more swimming this term. We enjoyed our last swim on Friday with some fun activities.
The children who have been swimming consistently have made some big improvements in their swimming. So well done Children.
Last Wednesday the juniors put on the Resurrection Liturgy. All the children did a fabulous job.
I will post some video of this and some photos.
Spelling this week is what was handed out last week. (the class get an extra week to practice as last week was a short one)
Keep up the reading. This is so important and it pays huge dividends in all areas of learning.
This week we welcome two new children to our class. Leon and Mia. Welcome to room 10 Leon and Mia!We know you will enjoy your time in room 10.
ALSO TYLAH-FERN HAS LOST TWO NAMED JERSEYS. COULD YOU HAVE AN EYE OUT IN CASE ONE WENT STRAYWARD TO YOUR HOUSE..THANKS.
Golden time is craft again..the children really enjoy this!
