Term 3!

Welcome back everyone. 
Just a reminder that Monday is a Teacher Only Day.
School resumes Tuesday and I look forward to an exciting term.
Please let me know if you can assist with some small group help with writing in the mornings. This would be for about half an hour,  2-3 mornings a week.

I will be sending home spelling and maths homework this week for the next two weeks.
I trust you have had some time to do some reading over the break with the readers I sent home for the holidays!

Our concept or theme this term is ENTERPRISE. We will be looking at what a risk taker is, creativity and opportunity. 

Our religious education topic is HOLINESS and looking at the sacraments.

Maths is number and probability. 

Physical education is ball skills and PMP.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS PARENTS!!!

Hope you are enjoying your break with your children.
Just a quick question..I did mention this to some parents last term.

We would appreciate some parent help in the mornings to help with some small groups during writing time.
If you think you are able to help out please email me.

This would involve:
-helping the child to formulate and extend their writing idea
-help the child to find relevent words off the word cards
-use chunking and stretching out the sound of a new word
-getting a written idea or story on paper

Ideally, 3 mornings a week for some small group assistance. Approximately 30  minutes.

Week 10

Week 10 Term 2

It was great to see some families at the Mass on Sunday. Wasn't the singing grand!

We wish Tara and her family a safe and happy trip to Ireland we look forward to hearing of Tara and her Irish adventures!

I will be sending home some spelling lists and readers for the holidays. I want to keep our children moving forward :-)

DISCO this Thursday 11th July watch the newsletter.

We enjoyed a combined Golden Time this week put on by the senior students. I was impressed with how our juniors worked in groups and answered the questions. Well done Seniors!

I will be completing some testing and portfolio work this week.
