Great trip last week to the farm. The children had a blast!
In week 6 I have arranged for a trip to the Rotorua museum. This promises to be exciting also!!

WEEK 3 TERM 3
Thank you all for attending your child's interview last week. It is important to touch base with what is happening at home and school and so work out our next learning steps for your child.
A fantastic response from the ROOM 10 parents!!!!!!!!
On Tuesday we have our trip to the Meredith's farm.
We will be traveling by private car and we have enough drivers, so thank you.
If the weather is really bad, our postponement date is Friday the 16th.
I am sure the class will learn a lot about where our milk comes from, and the process involved of getting it from the farm to our homes.
A big thank you to Kim and your husband for providing us with this opportunity to visit your farm.
The children are looking forward to it (and the cute little calves!!).
Roms 9 and 11 will be joining us.
Homework for week 3 and 4 was given out on Friday. This gives parents and children an opportunity to see the homework requirements for the upcoming weeks and feedback so far has been positive with this initiative. Sometimes the week is busy and this just provides another opportunity for your child to go over their new book and words. :-)
GOLDEN TIME Friday is choosing activities in the class.
Thank you also for those who attended our Mass on Friday.
Didn't the Juniors do well. Some of our prayer readers had to step in at the last minute due to nominated readers being sick that day!
So well done Juniors. And also thanks to Natalie for sitting with our class!
We also had a great afternoon doing a variety of Mary Mackillop activities to continue our celebrations of the day. The class will do some follow up in RE of Mary Mackillop this week.
Phew...looking forward to an exciting week...see you Monday.
Fingers crossed for fine weather Tuesday.
God Bless

Here are some photos of some great writing and our discussion on Enterprise!
