 Week 5         Term 1

Gala is this week!! 28th from 4pm.
Helpers are still required for 'set up' and 'pack down'. If you can assist please leave your details at the office. A HUGE thank you to those who have already volunteered. Also thank you for your generous donations of goods for the gala room 10!!

No swimming this week.

Library day has changed to Tuesday.

Golden Time for week 5....the children voted this week for 'water play'. So they can bring their togs for this. We try to decide on golden time so the children know exactly what is coming up! So they can be prepared for it.
Please ask your child about our 'Golden Rules'. Every child is familiar or becoming familiar with them and it helps parents understand what it means if your child has lost golden time.

If you can save your yogurt and ice cream containers we can make good use of them in art!! Please send to class.

Watch this spot for updates.

Thank you
Bernie Hall

Welcome to Room 10 2013

Welcome to Room 10!

What a great start we have had to the start of the term. It has been wonderful that all children have come to school with their stationery..all ready to go.

Parent interviews are this week ..Wednesday and Thursday after school. Visit the school website
http://www.stmarysrotorua.school.nz/ and book a slot for interviews. If you need any help the office can assist or come and see me.
Due to the fact that my husband is overseas at present, and I have children to collect by 5:15 these days..I will need to see you between 3:00 and 5:00pm. If you cannot make these times please see me to arrange another suitable time for you.
On these days please pick up your child from the hall.

Our swimming weeks are in even weeks so we will be swimming next week.
This week we have the 'leg it' programme. Your child will need to bring their sports uniform to wear for this.
On Thursday I will be attending staff PD. So a reliever will be in room 10 but I will be back in time for interviews.

Many of the students who were with me last year are in my class again this year. We had a class blog last year which you can view at here
